Hello everybody! On 16th October years 1 and 2, as well as some teachers went on a trip to the zoo. We drove to Casa de Campo early on Tuesday morning, and arrived back at the school for lunch time. We saw a number of different animals which the children have been learning about in class. First we saw the Flamingos, the children were able to see them and their amazing pink feathers close up! We also saw a lot of different African animals, such as lions, hippo's and giraffes. I'm not sure who was more excited, me or the children! The best part of the trip came at the end. We saw a dolphin show! The dolphins were fantastically well trained and at one point even threw one of the trainers up into the air!
I am new at the school and so it was a good chance to get to know some of the children better. I can't wait for the next school trip!
