STORYTELLING

Hi everyone,

On the 27th of february all the students could enjoy a Storytelling in the school. There were 3 different performances: "My Kingdom" (for Infants), "The Odyssey" (for Year 1, 2 and 3) and "Catch the Thief" (for Year 4, 5 and 6).

Excursión a Atapuerca

El viernes, 24 de febrero los alumnos de 5º y 6º de Primaria fueron a ver los yacimientos de Atapuerca.  Además vimos el parque arqueológico y el CNIEH (Centro Nacional de Investigación sobre la Evolución Humana). Salimos a las 8:30 y llegamos alrededor de las 21:45. Fue una experiencia divertida y muy enriquecedora

Para aprovechar aún más la visita los alumnos estuvieron practicando en el arenero del colegio.

 

ST. PATRICK´S DAY IS COMING

    St.Patrick’s day is coming up on the 17th of March and this is just a few words about the patron saint of Ireland. St.Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century and the 17th of March (the day he died in 461) has been celebrated throughout the worldwide Irish diaspora ever since. Parades take place annually across the globe, the biggest being New York, Boston, Chicago, London, Glasgow, Sydney and of course the biggest of all in Dublin. An estimated 80 million people in the world can claim Irish ancestry so St.Patrick’s day is the coming together of one big green family to party and have the craic!
